Sandwich manicure

Hi,
As you might have already seen the popular 'sandwich manicures' on many blogs, I've finally had the chance do wear one myself, too. There are some nail polishes on the market which offer this effect, such as Golden Rose or China Glaze, but there are also many tutorials about how to get this effect using polishes you have at home. If you are too lazy to create a franken or you simply don't have access to them in your country (I have this problem, too), Born Pretty store is the best alternative. They have free international shipping and I have to admit that the Tribal nail polishes are definitely worth buying!
You can find the snowflake nail polish I'm wearing here - it's #2 in the list. I applied two coats of it above a thin layer of pink polish. Its dry time surprised me. Generally, glitter nail polishes have two main disadvantages: you have to wait really long until they're dried and you have to apply numerous coats so that there is a considerable amount of glitter particles. This polish doesn't have any of this problems! Now you see why I love it so much. What do you think?

If you haven't seen my post about the other Tribal nail polish I own, check it now!
