Striped nail art using fan brush

Hi,
Today I'll show you a lively striped manicure as well as my new 15 pc nail art brush kit

I got this set from an online nail art store, Born Pretty and they cost $5,96. They're quality brushes of different dimensions and shapes in order that you get sophisticated detailed manicures.
The set contains drawing, painting and liner brushes, from thinner to thicker and from smaller to bigger ones. The thin ones are really helpful when creating small details. They are thin enough and you don't have to cut them to create the perfect breadth.

With the brushes bellow you may create one stroke nail designs.

The set also includes a dotting tool for really small dots with perfect accuracy.

Last but not least are the fan brushes. If you wonder how I created the manicure in the first picture of the post, they are the answer. Using these brushes you may create really thin lines on your nails. My inspiration for this manicure was this Youtube tutorial. Please watch it to see the technique used.

For this manicure, I started with two coats of China Glaze -Lemon Fizz. The polishes used for the lines were Dior -545 and 671 and Picture Polish -Citrus. I finished with a clear top coat. What do you think?

And here's another manicure I did using the same technique, but different colours. Which one do you like more?

Zipper nail art

Hi,
Today I'll show you a unique manicure that is extremely easy to do: zipper nails. I started with two coats of Flormar -DC06, which I randomly applied, as you can see in the pictures. Then I applied the  Zipper Water Decals from Born Pretty. They come in a pack of 20 decals, enough for two manicures. They are two-sided; it means that they are golden on a side and silver on the other side. I didn't notice this until having applied some, so my manicure is with the golden ones, but I'll definitely use the silver part for my next manicure.

The technique to apply these is really easy. I cut small pieces with 10 of the designs and then I took a small glass with water. Using tweezers, I sank each piece of paper in the water and then the design came off easily.  I just applied them on the nails and finished with a clear top coat.
