Precious blue

Hi,
Today I'll show you a blue mix and match manicure. As base colours, I used Rimmel - Too cool to tango and Rimmel - Sky high.On my thumb, index and middle fingers, I stamped the design from Born Pretty's BP-L003 stamping plate, using their white stamping nail polish. On my index finger, I added some Shimmer Polish - Jenny glitter and on my pinkie I added some rhinestones. I finished with clear top coat on all nails for extra shine. What do you think?

Ice cream nails

Hi,
Today I'm participating in a nail art challenge with some other amazing girls and the theme is ice cream. For this manicure, I started with two coats of nude nail polish and then I stamped the design from Konad's m57 image plate with a darker brown so as to create the ice cream cone effect. Then I painted the ice cream globes using a thin brush. For my thumb, index finger and pinkie, I used Rimmel - Sweet retreat and for the rest of the nails I combined China Glaze - Too Yacht to Handle and some Love Charlotte nail polish. Finally, I added some sprinkles and them clear top coat. What do you think?

Don't forget to check out the other girls' manicures, they're all pretty!

Born Pretty Holographic Powder

Hi,
Today I'll show you my new sparkly manicure I created with Born Pretty's holographic powder. I started with one coat of Sephora - Black lace on all nails and then I applied the powder.

You can see that there's a little brush - exactly like an eye make up brush - to use for applying the powder on the nails. It's easy to apply, but the effect is not so breathtaking like the chrome powder I told you about here. The final look is ok in both cases, but I needed more product to achieve this look, compared to the chrome powder which was perfectly opaque after applying just a small quantity of product.

I created the unicorn using this sheet of nail vinyls. After applying the vinyl, I applied the powder and then removed it and got the little unicorn. Finally, I applied clear top coat on all nails. What do you think of the final look? Have you tried the nail powder yet?

A new project

Hi, everyone! As you can see in the title, I just strated a new project. Ever wondered what stays behind all mai nail art pictures that were photographed on the beach, for example?

Now it's time to find out more about me, as I just started a new travel blog! I just posted my article on Touristish and I'd love to know what you think about it! As I'm just at the begining with it, I'd very much appreciate if you could follow it and maybe leave a comment and let me know what are your thoughts about the article. Would you like me to change anything in the way I write them? Is it too much, is it too little? Your opinions are really important for me.

For example, you can find the story behind these two manicures I wore during my trip in Thassos, which I wrote about here. Please go and check it out!

Yellow roses

Hi,
Today I'll show you my new vibrant manicure that matches the hot season we're in. I wanted something colourful and I went for a combination of orange, green and yellow. I started with two coats of Rimmel - Tangerine Tent and then I created my own decals using Born Pretty's BP-73 stamping plate.

I started by stamping the design with Born Pretty's Black stamping nail polish and then let the image dry on the stamper. I used El Corazon - Matte Effect #145 Neon and Rimmel - Daisy days to fill in the flowers and leaves. After it dried, I applied some clear top coat and then unstuck the decal from the stamper and stuck it on my nail. I finished by applyimg clear top coat on all nails to seal everything in. What do you think?

Baby showers

What other moment is more magical than that when a baby comes to the world? He's a precious gift that will bring a lot of happines to everyone's lives. We are all expecting him to come and start celebrating, because that's what baby showers are about. We want to find the best gifts and sometimes this is not easy, if we crave for perfection. Lately, I've been looking a lot for gifts for my friend's baby shower and thought to share some of my findings with you.

First things first, I found this cute little journal which is a place to write about pregnancy and the first year of the baby's life. If I were pregnant, I would definitely want something like this, as I like writing a lot and I think it's a great way to have a memory with the most unique experience in life.

Then here's "Messages for you", something for the baby to read while growing up. Inside there are beautiful envelopes for each message. It can be a great gift from a mother, an aunt or a grandmother.

I think every mother is obsessed with taking pictures of her child and a great way to keep the best ones in one place is a pretty photo album.

In the end, here's something funny for the parents. 'Single, Married, Kids' measures wine glasses. I found everything on Gifts less ordinary and there are many more awesome gifts ideas.
What's your idea of a perfect baby shower gift? I'd like yo read your's in the comments.
