Hi,

Today I'll show you an extremely beautiful, sugary textured nail polish. It's Golden Rose -Galaxy 12 and I don't think there is anything else to say about its beauty. I applied two coats of it and no other top coat. I wanted a blue sand effect nail polish for so long and I think I've just found the perfect one! What do you think?

Pink awesomeness

Today I'd like to show you my new pink manicure - a very easy to do one, yet very eye-catchy. I started with two coats of Golden Rose -Holiday #82 on all nails, except from my middle and ring finger. On those two nails, I applied two coats of Golden Rose -Rich Color #08. Then I added some details. On my middle finger, I applied some nail vinyls I got from Ebay and painted a coat of gold above. Finally I removed the tape and  applied some clear top coat. On my ring finger, I applied a golden heart stud which I got Born Pretty store.

China Glaze -Put a bow on it

Today I'll show you a new nail polish from the latest China Glaze collection - Happy HoliGlaze. This one is called Put a bow on it and I  was really surprised yo find out that it's a sand effect nail polish. I didn't figure it out after seeing only a few swatches online, but I have to admit that I like it even more this way.

Astazi va voi arata o noua oja din ulrima colectie China Glaze - Happy HoliGlaze. Cea pe care o sa v-o arat se numeste Put a bow on it si am fost foarte surprinsa sa vad ca efectul este unul nisipos. Nu mi-am dat seama de acest lucru doar vazand niste swatch-uri online, dar trebuie sa recunosc ca imi place mult mai mult asa.

Unfortunately, because of the post's negligence, I got this one broken. Happily, I could save some and I moved it into an old nail polish bottle.

Din pacate, din neglijenta postei, am primit aceasta oja sparta. Din fericire, totusi, am putut salva ceva din aceasta oja si am mutat-o intr-o sticluta veche. 

This is how it looks like applied in two coats, without any top coat.

Maybe you've seen the beautiful ring in the first picture. It got it from Rings and Tings, an online jewelry store. I also got two necklaces, which you might have seen on facebook.

Poate ati remarcat acest inel frumos in prima poza. L-am luate de pe Rings and Tings, care este un magazin online de bijuterii. De asemenea, mi-am mai luat doua coliere, pe care probabil le-ati vazut pe facebook.

Today I'll show you the manicure I wore this Halloween. It's funny because I used two different collections called Holiday to create this nail art. I started with two coats of Golden Rose Holiday #80 and then 

stamped various designs from Bundle Monster's Holiday BM-H08 plate using black polish. I finished with clear top coat. What do you think?

Today I'll show you my new simple, yet incredibly elegant manicure. I just applied two coats of Golden Rose -Holiday #54 on all nails. The matte glittery effect is gorgeous!

My Golden Rose nail polish arsenal

Some of you might have already seen this picture on my facebook page. Today I'll show you the 14 polishes from Golden Rose that I own. They're from various collections, such as Impression, Holiday. Rich Color, Carnival and Jolly Jewels.

Unele dintre voi poate ati vazut deja aceasta poza pe pagina mea de facebook. Astazi va voi arata cele 14 oje Golden Rose pe care le detin. Acestea sunt din diferite colectii, cum ar fi Impression, Holiday. Rich Color, Carnival si Jolly Jewels.

Impression is a collection which 'impresses' with the feather effect it gives to the manicure. The glitter particles are coloured, long and thin. Feather nails are lately a trend.

Impression este o colectie care reuseste sa 'impresioneze' prin efectul de pene ce il da manichiurii. Particulele de glitter sunt colorate, lungi si subtiri. In ultima vreme, unghiile cu pene sunt un adevarat trend. Le puteti gasi AICI pe site-ul Cosmania.

Holiday is a textured nail polish collection, also known as sand effect or sugar effect. It actually is a glittery polish with a matte finish. I for one fell in love with this nail polish trend. There are 31 shades available. The ones from #51 to #60 have silver particles and those from #61 to #67 are only matte. The rest of them are part of the Summer collection and there are neon shades.

Holiday este o colectie de oje texturate, cunoscute si ca oje cu efect de nisip sau cu efect de zahar. De fapt, sunt oje cu glitter si cu finish mat. Eu personal m-am indragostit de acest trend. Exista 31 de nuante disponibile in aceasta colectie. Cele de la #51 la #60 au in ele particule argintii, iar cele de la #61 la #67 sunt doar mate. Golden Rose Holiday #58

Today I'll show you another nail polish with sand finish - Golden Rose Holiday #58. I applied two coats of it on all nails except from my ring finger. There I applied two coats of Classics #205 and the stuck two square rhinestones. I finished with matte top coat on this nail, but unfortunately the photographs were taken without it. What do you think?

T.P.A. Group Challenge: 1. Inspired by Pop Art - Orangeade

Today I'll show you the manicure I created for I challenge I've just entered. It's called T.P.A. Group Challenge (The Polish Addict is a group of nail art maniacs from Romania who share the passion). The creator of this was Georgia, whose blog is well worth visiting. 

Today's theme was Inspired by Pop Art. I started with two coats of Golden Rose Holiday #53 on all nails except my ring finger and pinkie on which I applied two coats of Flormar -M01. On the orange nails, I stamped the bubbles design from H20 plate, using white polish. I didn't apply any matte top coat because Golden Rose is already matte. On the white nails, I wrote FIZZ using a really thin brush and then outlined it. On my pinkie, I stamped an outlined orange using this technique. I filled in the remaining space with a tiny dotting tool. I finished with matte top coat.

I also wanted to share with you the goodies I've just bought from Golden Rose. #53, #58 and #59 from Holiday collection - with matte finish and sand effect; and #115 from Jolly Jewels collection. Which would you like to see next?

Tutorial: Textured nails

Textured nails, matte glittered nails, sand nails - or however you like to call them - are definitely a trend this season. From all the collections on the market, Zoya's Pixie Dust collection is my favourite. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to put your hands on it if you live in a country as mine. But that shouldn't prevent you from wearing the latest trend on your nails. In this post, I'll show you how!

If you don't know what I'm talking about, below is the picture of Dahlia, my favourite from this collection. The picture near it is my fake Dahlia nail art. 

It is very easy to create your own textured nails if you follow the steps bellow. Firstly, paint your nails a coat of matte nail polish. The one I used is Illamasqua -Scorn. Then take your glitter and a fan brush (if you don't have one, any other brush will work; you can even pour the glitter directly from the box. While the polish is still wet, stick the glitter on it, whichever method of those mentioned above you use. Finally, clean your cuticles and the all the mess on your skin. It is important that you don't apply a shiny top coat, or else you won't get the matte-glitter effect. You get a perfect dupe for Zoya Dahlia.

You can do this using any colour of nail polish and its glitter corespondent. If you don't have any matte nail polish colour, just apply a matte top coat when everything's done. The glitter I used in this tutorial is this Acrylic Glitter Powder from Born Pretty. What do you think?
