Watercolor & Animal print nail art

Hi,
Today I'll show you my new manicure inspired by @galaxystar7 from Instagram.
I started with two coats of China Glaze -Too Yacht To Handle and then added some little purple dots using a dotting tool and Avon -Luxe Lavander. Then, I outlined the dots using black nail polish.
On my accent nail, I applied the two polished using the watercolor technique and then applied some square studs which I got from Born Pretty store.
I finished with clear top coat on all nails. What do you think?

MoYou London stamping plates

Hi,
Today I'll show you a manicure I created with my new MoYou stamping plates. I started with two coats of China Glaze -Sun of a peach and then stamped the sweater design - that's how I like to call it - from MoYou Festive Collection 04, using white nail polish. I finished with clear top coat. What do you think?

Here's everything I got with my order at MoYou.co.uk:
- Festive Plate Collection 04
Scholar Plate Collection 02
Large Size Stamp & Scrapers

I was extremely impressed to receive the order after only 4 days, considering I am international customer. Moreover, I really enjoy the packing - each plate is packed separately in a themed cardboard and has a protection foil which has to be removed before using it. I feel the need to mention that the foil was extremely easy to remove, considering my past experience with those protection foils you would almost break your nails when trying to get rid of them.

Now onto the stamper. I've been wishing for a stamper like this one and more exactly for a squishy stamper. Until now, my favourite stamper was the double Konad stamper, but from all the stampers I've ever tried, I honestly like this one the most. If you are looking for a soft and squishy stamper, believe me that this is your best option.
The plastic scrappers are also brilliant. I have tried other plastic scrappers before, but they just wouldn't remove properly the excess of polish, so I stuck to my Konad scrapper for years. It was really the best, but it scratched all my stamping plates (you can see that in the comparison picture below). It is now the case with MoYou's plastic scrappers, which fully remove the excess and also protect the plate.

As you can clearly see, the MoYou designs are bigger than both Konad and Bundle Monster designs. So I had the chance to try the Shrinking your image procedure which I saw on Youtube. It worked great with the squishy stamper. If you watch the video, you'll see how to make a large design smaller so as to fit your nail and that's what I did for this manicure. Below is an example and you can also see that the colour of a regular (non-stamping) nail polish is more intense when the design is shrinked.

On the other hand, I was firstly a little skeptic about this stamper because the big rubber is white. I thought I wouldn't be able stamp white designs with it, but I was definitely wrong. See it for yourselves in the picture bellow.

All in all, I am completely satisfied with my order and I hope I'll have the chance to try more of their plates in the future. You'll see another manicure with the other plate soon.
Do you like the plates I chose? What's your experience with MoYou London image plates?

Ikat nail art

Hi,
Today I'll show you my first attempt to Ikat manicure. I started with two coats of Avon -Green with envy on all nails, except from my ring finger on which I applied Avon -Well being. On the nude base, I created the Ikat design using a thin nail art brush and several shades of green and gold (China Glaze -Passion). On my index and middle fingers, I applied two golden studs which I got from Born Pretty store. I finished with Glitter Gal -Gloss Boss top coat on all nails. What do you think?

I stamped the texts from Bundle Monster's BM425 stamping plate, using Dior #943. I finished with matte top coat. What do you think?

I started with two coats of Rimmel -312 Ultra Violet and white it was still wet, I applied a strike of Illamasqua -Vice, and one of China Glaze -Too Yacht To Handle. Using a toothpick, I created the dry marble. I finished with clear top coat. What do you think?

For this one I used two coats of Astor -050 Iconic Red on all nails and then I stamped the globes design on my ring finger and pointer. This one is from BM-H03 image plate and I used China Glaze -Passion. On the rest of the nails, I applied a thick coat of Shimmer Polish -Tracy. I finished with clear top coat.

China Glaze -Passion

Hi,
Today I'll show you a beautiful nail polish from China Glaze -Passion. It's a metallic shade of gold, which is great for stamping, too. Really opaque after a single coat, the nail polish looks attractive no matter if stamped or used as a base colour. If you are seeking for nail polishes which are perfect for Christmas, this one should definitely be on your list.

Buna,

Beauty in the Bottle.

For the simple manicure, I just added some black rhinestones on my ring finger and finished with a clear top coat. For the stamped one, I used Flormar #399 as a base colour and then stamped the design from Konad's m78 image plate. I finished with clear top coat, too.

China Glaze -Put a bow on it

Hi,
Today I'll show you a new nail polish from the latest China Glaze collection - Happy HoliGlaze. This one is called Put a bow on it and I  was really surprised yo find out that it's a sand effect nail polish. I didn't figure it out after seeing only a few swatches online, but I have to admit that I like it even more this way.

Buna,
Beauty in the Bottle.

Unfortunately, because of the post's negligence, I got this one broken. Happily, I could save some and I moved it into an old nail polish bottle.

This is how it looks like applied in two coats, without any top coat.
Asa arata aplicata in doua straturi, fara top coat.

Maybe you've seen the beautiful ring in the first picture. It got it from Rings and Tings, an online jewelry store. I also got two necklaces, which you might have seen on facebook.

P.S. From now on, I'll be using my instagram more frequently, so don't forget to follow me @konadaddict! I've already posted a picture.
